Restful Homes Group, Lounge Area

At the Restful Homes Group we believe that you should decide how you would like to spend your day and we will work around your wishes and preferences as much as possible. During our pre-admission assessment we will ask you how you like to spend your day and try and find out as much as possible about your life and your interests as well as your personal history. We do this so that we can tailor our service to your preferences and needs and rather than simply assuming that we know what you like - we ask you first.

We believe that good communication is of paramount importance which is why we are very keen to have as much input as possible and invite all our relatives, with the resident's consent, to participate in the monthly care plan reviews with the named nurse and their loved one. We do this as we know that everyones needs and preferences are continually changing and we want to ensure that our care plans accurately reflect your needs and desires and to see if there is anything else we can do to ensure that you are as happy and independent as possible.

Our goal is to ensure that we maximise your abilities and your independence and we can only do this through gathering as much information as possible and then continually evaluating whether or not your needs are being met to your satisfaction. We want all our residents to feel at home and this is why we encourage all our residents to personalise their rooms and to socialise within the home to foster a sense of community. In addition we send regular questionnaires to you to see what you think of areas such as the food, the care or the environment. Once we have received the questionnaires we will then make any changes that are necessary to improve our service.
