Abbey Court Nursing Home is a luxury hotel-style nursing home situated in  Heath Hayes, Cannock. This purpose-built home comprises of 109 large single ensuite bedrooms and 4 ensuite companion rooms for friends or couples to share. Abbey Court is very bright and spacious and we have 13 separate lounge or dining areas for you to choose from to ensure that you can sit with a group of friends in an atmosphere of your choosing.

 

Our bedrooms have been carefully designed to be tasteful and homely and yet colourful. We believe that you should enjoy your surroundings and have provided a range of bedroom styles to choose from. Many of our rooms on the ground floor have patio doors for direct access to the patio areas.

 

All rooms are considerably larger than the government standards and this allows you to bring in some of your furniture to help you feel at home.

 

We provide the highest standard of person-centred care to our residents and cater for the varied needs of older people over the age of 60. On the ground floor we provide personal and nursing care and on the first floor we provide care for those suffering from dementia type illnesses who require residential or nursing care.

Our staff are carefully selected and thoroughly trained to ensure that they meet your needs. Experienced general and mental health nurses and NVQ trained care assistants are on hand 24 hours a day to meet your medical and personal needs.

 

We have a varied activities programme which includes regular in-house activities and entertainment together with trips to local attractions in the warmer months. Please feel free to contact us about joining the "Friends of Abbey Court" which helps to foster links with the local community. We are fortunate to have regular religious services at the Home and are grateful to the local clergy for their support.
