Connaught House

The home has been extremely carefully designed and represents the next generation of care homes with very generous bedroom suites that are over twice the size of other purpose-built care homes each with their own seating area, shower and each bedroom suite has its own kitchenette. The average size of our bedroom suites is over 30 square metres. The home has been designed so that it can be split into small households where different categories of care ensuring the disparate care needs of our residents can be met in the best possible surroundings.

Connaught House has been carefully designed and decorated to create a luxurious yet homely environment that is both welcoming and Dementia friendly. We have commissioned specially designed anti-microbial wallcoverings and designed our own bespoke furniture to achieve this. Connaught House has a variety of communal lounges and dining areas each with a Life Skills Kitchen to enable our residents to not only cook for themselves but also so the staff can easily prepare snacks for the residents at any time. We want our residents to enjoy living with us and we also have sensory rooms, private dining, a fully stocked bar and Café, a cinema and a spacious rooftop garden. We have created level access to outside space on each of the floors with the 1st and 2nd floors having a variety of balconied areas from many bedrooms, lounges and the corridors and the top floor has a large rooftop garden with far reaching views.
